Steven Sumners, ESC-T, D, N, is a Project Manager at The Experts, focusing on growth in the commercial and pro audio markets since March 2019. Sumners has been an active Instructor with CEDIA since July 2010, teaching courses on Lighting and Lighting Control and leading classes on Video Technologies and Fiber Optic Cable. In addition, Sumners contributes as a volunteer EST Content Action Team Member, managing the EST courses and collaborating with subject matter experts for course material updates. Prior experience includes serving as CEO and President of Sound Insights Inc from June 1993 to March 2019 and working as a Reactor Control Operator at Florida Power & Light from September 1986 to September 2006. Education includes ongoing studies at Arizona State University since 1979.
