Emilia Pliszka

Emilia Pliszka has a diverse work experience in the Human Resources field. Emilia is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at Cegal, where they have held this position since September 2021. Prior to this role, they were the Vice President HR at SYSCO from February 2021 to September 2021. Before their time at Cegal and SYSCO, Emilia worked at Orkla Group as an HR Business Partner from February 2020 to January 2021. Emilia also gained significant experience at GSK, where they held positions such as HR Country Head & Transactional and Effectiveness Lead, Nordic & Baltic from August 2018 to February 2020, and HR Manager for Pharma & Consumer Healthcare from August 2016 to July 2018. Earlier in their career, Emilia worked at TietoEVRY, where they held various HR roles including HR Business Partner and M&A HR lead, HR Business Partner and Employer Brand Lead, and HR Specialist from 2011 to 2016. Emilia started their professional career as a Finance Assistant at Think Global AS from October 2009 to May 2011.

Emilia Pliszka obtained a Master's degree in Education from the University of Warsaw between 2002 and 2007, specializing in the Individual Program of Studies. Emilia also attended the University of Oslo (UiO) from 2008 to 2009, focusing on Norwegian Language.
