Julie Dougherty

Julie Dougherty is an experienced venue and event manager with a diverse background in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as the Venue Manager at Celebrity Theatre since March 2019, Julie oversees all aspects of events at the historic 2,660-seat venue in Phoenix. With a freelance event specialist role since October 2018, Julie has provided consulting and management services in the Phoenix area. Previously, Julie held the position of Events Specialist for the Arizona State Fair, managing entertainment and attractions, and served as Guest Services Representatives Supervisor for the Phoenix Suns. Julie also managed production and marketing for the Arizona Derby Dames, where significant events included a national tournament. Julie's career began at EMI Music, where as Director of Label Admin, strategic planning and budgeting were key responsibilities. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Liberal Arts and Sciences.
