Amanda Heinz has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Amanda started their career as a Lab Tech at Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health in 2002. Amanda then worked at Quintiles from 2005 to 2015, where they held various roles including Senior Clinical Research Associate and Clinical Project Manager. During their time at Quintiles, they specialized in vendor management for a large global schizophrenia program and held full Clinical Team Lead responsibilities for Major Depressive Disorder protocols.
In 2015, Amanda joined Syneos Health, where they served as a Sr Project Manager and later as a Project Manager II. In these roles, they were responsible for managing projects, contracting, scheduling, tracking project milestones, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Amanda's next position was at Covance, where they worked as a Project Manager from 2019 to 2020. Amanda then moved to Celerion in 2018, where they held the role of Contract Clinical Project Manager. Currently, Amanda is working at Ionis Pharmaceuticals as a Contract Clinical Trial Manager, starting in 2020.
Throughout their career, Amanda has demonstrated their expertise in clinical project management, vendor management, contract negotiation, and client relationship management.
Amanda Heinz pursued their education by first attending South Dakota State University from 1998 to 2002. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Infectious Disease, with a focus on Microbiology. Later on, they enrolled in Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, where they completed a Master's degree program in Project Management between 2012 and 2016.
