Rebecca Wright

Rebecca Wright, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Rebecca started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory University, where they conducted research on adrenergic receptors. In 2003, they joined Sigma-Aldrich as a PhD Research Biotechnology Specialist and worked there until 2008. Rebecca then moved on to MDS Pharma Services, where they held the position of Senior Director in Business Development for the MidAtlantic region from 2008 to 2010. Following that, Rebecca worked as a Senior Director of Business Development at Ricerca Biosciences for a short period before joining Celerion in 2010, where they currently serve as the Senior Director of Business Development.

Rebecca Wright, Ph.D. obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Biology/Biological Sciences, with a specialization in Pharmacology, from the University of the West of England. Rebecca completed this degree from 1995 to 1998. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacology at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Rebecca'sdoctoral program spanned from 1996 to 2000.
