Delissa Garcia Lorenz

Delissa Garcia Lorenz is a certified teacher with extensive experience in educational settings, currently serving at Celina ISD since August 2023, and previously at Prosper ISD from June 2018 to May 2023 and Frisco ISD from August 2016 to June 2018. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington, along with a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from St. Edward's University, Delissa has contributed to both K-12 education and higher education as an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator at The University of Texas at Arlington from January 2005 to May 2013. Delissa is recognized for facilitating student academic growth and developing skills necessary for success in a dynamic global environment, while also being a Grief Recovery Specialist and a licensed master social worker.
