Josephine Akingbulu, DrPHs, MPH, CHES

Josephine Akingbulu, DrPHs, MPH, CHES has a diverse work experience. Josephine is currently serving as the Director of Social Systems Design and Engineering at Cell-Ed since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Global Health Leadership professional at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science from July 2020. Additionally, Josephine served as a Health Equity Fellow at The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship from May 2022. Furthermore, they are the Co-Founder of Serendty since March 2020. Lastly, Josephine has been an Executive Board Member at The Association of Black Women Physicians from June 2020 to January 2023.

Josephine Akingbulu holds a Doctor of Public Health degree from Claremont Graduate University, specializing in Leadership and Management. Josephine also has a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Urban Health Disparities from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Anthropology and Global Health from UCLA. In addition to their degrees, Josephine has obtained certifications in Innovative Project Development: Design Thinking from the University of California, Los Angeles, and they are a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) recognized by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. Josephine also completed the Preparing Future Faculty College Teaching Certificate program at Claremont Graduate University.
