Erik Bennink

Erik Bennink has a diverse work experience in the life science industry. Erik started their career as a researcher at Organon in 1999 and later worked as a biochemistry researcher at the University of Nijmegen. In 2002, they joined the Tumor Immunology Lab at NCMLS, where they conducted research on mouse brain tumor and skin tumor models. Erik'swork focused on training dendritic cells to attack and eliminate tumors through TLR stimulation and studying the influence of Tregs.

In 2007, Bennink transitioned to industry roles, first as an application specialist at Millipore, responsible for expanding and protecting the life science business in the Netherlands. Erik then moved to Merck Millipore in 2010 as a senior field application specialist, where they focused on growing the business for a specific product group in multiple countries.

In 2012, Bennink joined Luminex Corporation as a business manager for technology and strategic partnership in the EMEIA area. Erik'sresponsibilities included partner management, distribution, and assisting customers with custom assay development projects using the XMAP multiplexing platform.

Currently, Bennink is working at Cell Signaling Technology (CST) as the European sales manager, responsible for the direct sales force in Europe. Erik is enthusiastic about working for this innovative family-owned company that provides high-quality research and diagnostic products for personalized medicine.

Erik Bennink obtained a Bachelor's degree in life science biochemistry from HAN University of Applied Sciences, which they completed from 1996 to 2000. Erik also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from HBO University. Furthermore, they attended HAN University of Applied Sciences for an undisclosed period. Additionally, Erik attended MLO, although the duration and field of study remain unknown.
