Zhanna Polonskaya has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development, specifically in the pharmaceutical industry. Zhanna started their career as a Senior Laboratory Technologist during their Thesis Research from 1999 to 2001. Zhanna then worked as a Research Support Specialist at Stony Brook University from 2001 to 2003, where they focused on analyzing DNA instability elements and performing mutational analysis.

Afterwards, Zhanna joined Albert Einstein College of Medicine as a Research Technician from 2003 to 2006, where they generated hybridomas and maintained hybridoma cell lines for antibody production. Zhanna then moved on to Phyton Biotech in 2007 as an Associate Scientist, specializing in plant cell cultures and optimizing processes for protein production.

In 2009, Zhanna worked as a Scientist I at Sanofi Aventis, where they focused on antigen generation and validation, as well as generating monoclonal antibodies using hybridoma technology. Zhanna also performed antibody validation using various techniques.

From 2010 to 2011, Zhanna worked as a Sr. Research Associate at ImClone Systems, a subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, before joining Kadmon Pharmaceuticals in 2011. At Kadmon Pharmaceuticals, they held various roles including Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist II, and Senior Scientist. During their time at Kadmon Pharmaceuticals, their work involved antibody discovery, engineering for affinity maturation, and successful identification of multiple candidates for different projects.

Most recently, in 2022, Zhanna joined Celldex Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist.
