Shalima Sreenath

Shalima Sreenath has a diverse work experience in the field of process engineering. Shalima is currently the Head of Downstream Processing at Cellibre since 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Beyond Meat as a Process Engineer from August 2020 to January 2022. Before Beyond Meat, they were employed at Kerry for several roles, including Process Engineer - Central Engineering from September 2018 to August 2020, Process Engineer II from October 2016 to September 2018, and Process Engineer from August 2014 to October 2016. Shalima also gained research experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at Cornell University from September 2013 to May 2014, focusing on Supercritical Fluid Extrusion. Additionally, they worked as a Research Intern at ARCI Centre for Fuel Cell Technology from January 2013 to June 2013, an In-plant trainee at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited in June 2012, and an Engineering Intern at The Madras Medical Mission from May 2011 to July 2011.

Shalima Sreenath completed their education in a chronological order. Shalima first pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) (Hons.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, graduating in 2013. Shalima then went on to earn a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University in 2014. Prior to college, they completed their Indian School Certificate (ISC) degree from St. Thomas Residential School between 2007 and 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Shalima Sreenath obtained several certifications from Coursera. Shalima received the Six Sigma Green Belt Specialization in January 2019 and the Six Sigma Advanced Analyze Phase certification in October 2018. Shalima also attained certifications in the Six Sigma Advanced Define and Measure Phases in October 2018, as well as Six Sigma and the Organization (Advanced) in April 2018.
