Kevin Coakley

Kevin Coakley began their career as a Reliability Engineer at Intel in 1997. In 2004, they became a Device Physicist at Konarka Technologies. In 2007, they co-founded and became the CEO of ThinSilicon Corp., a Sequoia Capital-funded startup in the thin film a-Si PV sector. Kevin led the effort to raise venture capital & venture debt funding, establish an operating budget, and hire and manage the core technical team. In 2012, they co-founded and became the CEO of CelLink Corporation, which manufactures next-generation flexible circuits and flexible harnessing for the automotive industry. Kevin secured investments from Lear, Tinicum, BorgWarner, Mandra, Fontinalis Partners, Franklin Templeton, 3M, BMW i-Ventures, Ford, Bosch, SK Telecom, Band of Angels, and other angel investors.

Kevin Coakley completed their Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from Duke University between 1993 and 1997. Kevin then went on to Stanford University, where they received their PhD in Materials Science in 2004.
