Sean Searfoss

Sean Searfoss has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Sean currently holds the position of Senior Director, Head of Quality at Cellipont Bioservices, a role they have been associated with since July 2022. Prior to this, Sean served as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance at MacroGenics, Inc., from June 2021 to July 2022.

From June 2018 to June 2021, they worked as the Director of Quality Compliance at Paragon Bioservices, Inc. Before that, Sean held multiple roles at Pii (Pharmaceutics International, Inc.) from June 2015 to June 2018, including Director of Project Management and Director of Quality, Strategy and Operations.

Sean's earlier experiences include working as the Business Unit Manager at Terumo Cardiovascular Systems from December 2011 to June 2015, and as the Reagent Manufacturing Product Leader at Beckman Coulter from July 2009 to September 2011.

Sean started their career in the industry at Sanofi Pasteur in July 2003, where they worked in Industrial Operations until July 2009. Prior to that, Sean was the QA Lead Investigator at Wyeth Vaccines in 2002.

Sean Searfoss completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2002. Sean then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware from 2013 to 2014.
