Nicy Varghese

Nicy Varghese has over 13 years of work experience in the field of cell culture and research. Nicy began their career in 2007 at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics, Patancheru, Andhra Pradesh, India, where they worked as a Scientific Officer. In 2014, they joined Celltheon Corporation as a Research Associate. Nicy was promoted to Senior Research Associate in 2016 and Scientist, Cell Culture Lead in 2018. In their current role, Nicy is responsible for requirement analysis, planning, lab set up and experiment design for multiple clients.

Nicy Varghese completed a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore between 2000 and 2004. Nicy then obtained a Master's degree in Biotechnology(Ag) from Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur between 2005 and 2007. In 2013, Nicy Varghese earned an Associate's degree in Biotechnology from Ohlone College. Nicy also received a Certificate with Honors in Biotechnology & Bioinformatics from the University of California, Santa Cruz Extension in 2010.
