Hendrik Thamer started their work experience in 2005 as a Student Assistant at TuTech Innovation GmbH. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Working Student at Airbus. In 2009, they became a Student Research Assistant at OFFIS - Institute for Information Technology. In the same year, they joined BIBA - Bremer Institut für Produktion und Logistik at the University of Bremen, where they held the positions of Research Scientist / PhD Student and later Department Manager - Robotics and Automation. At BIBA Computer Vision Lab, they worked as a Manager from 2012 to 2014. Finally, in 2017, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of cellumation GmbH. Throughout their work experience, they managed research projects, presented research results at international conferences, and specialized in robotics, automation, computer vision, and artificial intelligence in the context of logistics.
Hendrik Thamer's education history includes obtaining a Diplom in Informatik from the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg from 2003 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended the University of Bremen from 2002 to 2003, studying Angewandte Volkswirtschaftslehre. Later, from 2011 to 2015, they pursued a Dr.-Ing. degree in Ingenieurwissenschaften at the University of Bremen. Lastly, Thamer attended FernUniversität in Hagen - IWW from 2016 to 2017, earning a Certified International Management Specialist degree in BWL.
