Peter C. Scherr has over 18 years of experience in environmental consulting. Peter C. began their career in 2001 as a Regulatory Specialist at Glenn Lukos Associates, where they were responsible for wetland delineations, Army Corps Section 404 wetland permits, California Dept. of Fish & Game wetland and riparian zone impact permits, mitigation/restoration, and construction monitoring. In 2002, they became a Project Manager at Princeton Hydro, LLC. From 2004 to 2014, they worked as a Project Manager at Amy S. Greene Environmental Consultants, Inc., where they were responsible for wetland delineations, NJDEP wetland permits, NJDEP Waterfront development permits, NJDEP stream encroachment permits, US Army Corps of Engineer Section 404 wetland permits, PADOT ECMS, mitigation/restoration, and NEPA planning documents (EIS, EA, CED) Environmental monitoring. Since 2014, they have been a Senior Project Manager at Chesapeake Environmental Management, Inc., where they are responsible for wetland project management, delineations, mitigation, restoration, and permitting, as well as NEPA.
Peter C. Scherr obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communications from PennWest Clarion between 1987 and 1990. Peter C. then attended Saddleback College for Professional Development in Ecological Restoration Techniques. In 1999, they obtained a Master of Science in Environmental Studies from California State University, Fullerton. Peter C. is currently in progress of obtaining a Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) from the Academy of Board Certified Environmental Professionals/ABCEP, which they began in November 2012.
