Mariana Fonseca

Mariana Fonseca has extensive experience in procurement and project management, currently serving as a Senior Buyer at Grupo CEMACO since May 2012. In this role, Mariana developed strategic initiatives for the food department, successfully negotiating with a new supplier base to ensure profitability and price competitiveness across 17 stores, achieving implementation within three months. Mariana's career at Grupo CEMACO also included positions as Project Assistant Manager and Junior Buyer, where responsibilities involved overseeing hardware operations and managing multiple purchasing categories. Prior to this, Mariana completed an internship at Industria La Popular, S.A., working on a Human Resources project. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Digital Marketing from ENAE Business School and an Engineering degree in Industrial Management from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.
