In 2005, Mark joined Cement Australia as a Commercial Manager in Gladstone. Mark then progressed to roles such as Commercial Manager in AFR and Energy, Commercial Manager in Manufacturing & Reporting, and Commercial Manager in Supply Chain. These positions involved providing financial analysis and support, managing budgets, and implementing processes for business efficiency.

In 2012, they became the Commercial Manager for Sales, Marketing & Distribution, leading the finance and commercial function of the division. Mark was responsible for planning and managing the commercial budget and overseeing a team of direct reports and staff across multiple locations.

In 2016, Mark was promoted to Group Accounting & Controlling Manager, taking on responsibilities for all reporting and controlling activities for Cement Australia. Mark provided analytical support and insights to senior executives, shareholders, and the Board. Mark also created and led the centralized management accounting function.

Most recently, Mark served as the Chief Financial Officer, reporting to the CEO and managing Finance, Accounting, and IT for Cement Australia. In this role, they focused on driving improved financial performance through strategic initiatives and process improvements.

Mark Sartor attended St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace from 1986 to 1990. After completing their education there, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Business in Accounting at the University of Southern Queensland from 1991 to 1994.
