Chas Horvath

Chas Horvath has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Chas started their career at Symbolics, Inc as a Senior Hardware Engineer in 1982 and worked there until 1988. Chas then joined Stratus Computer in 1988 as a Hardware Engineering Manager and stayed with the company until 1999. At Stratus Computer, they held various roles including Director of Software Engineering, Linux Software Development Manager, and System Management Software Development Manager. In 2009, they joined Stratus Technologies as a Virtualization Software Development Manager and worked there until 2012. Throughout their career, Chas Horvath played a significant role in the development of fault-tolerant servers and served as the primary technical contact for companies like Red Hat and VMware.

Chas Horvath obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University between 1976 and 1980. Chas later pursued further education at the same institution and earned a Masters of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, completing it in 1981.
