Carl Malartre

Carl Malartre is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader in the education technologies sector with 19 years of experience as a CEO, focusing on K-12 math, brand building, team development, and strategic growth, managing a team of 45 employees. Currently serving as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Centech Mtl since September 2022, Carl provides private coaching for startup founders, particularly in the Edtech space. Previously, Carl held the position of Principal Director at Scolab until its acquisition by TC Transcontinental in March 2023, also co-founding and serving as Président du conseil d'administration for the Association Edteq from February 2017 to July 2019, promoting educational technology and innovation in Quebec. Additionally, Carl contributed as a member of the Conseil du numérique for the Ministère de l'Économie, de la Science et de l'Innovation, advising the government on digital strategy priorities. Carl holds a degree in Business Informatics from Collège de Maisonneuve, obtained from 2000 to 2004.
