Hubert Neubrand

Hubert Neubrand is currently the Associate Vice President of Finance at Centennial College. Prior to this, they were the Director of Finance at Fidelity Canada from September 2007 to November 2018. In this role, they led a team of managers and analysts who provided support to senior executives in various Business Units. Hubert was also responsible for Business planning, budgeting and variance analysis, management reporting, monthly close process, expense approval, executive performance management, quarterly business reviews, board reporting, presentation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual results, process improvement, expense containment, pricing, competitor and market research, project support and analysis, collaborating with other Fidelity organizations and vendors, team development and leadership.

From January 2005 to August 2007, Hubert Neubrand was the Manager of Financial Analysis at MCAP. In this role, they were responsible for financial analysis and forecasting, preparation of management reports, variance analysis, and assisting with the monthly close process.

From September 2001 to December 2004, Hubert Neubrand was an Associate at Kroll Restructuring Ltd. In this role, they were responsible for providing support to senior managers in all aspects of corporate restructuring including business and financial analysis, due diligence, negotiations with creditors, and implementation of reorganization plans.

From January 1998 to March 2001, Hubert Neubrand was the Manager of Operations at Raiffeisen Schweiz. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bank branches in Switzerland. Hubert was also responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Hubert Neubrand is a certified public accountant (CPA) and certified management accountant (CMA) in the province of Ontario, Canada. Hubert received their MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and their undergraduate degree in business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. Hubert also holds a certification from the Canadian Institute of Mortgage Brokers and Lenders as an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP), and a Private Pilot's License (PPL) from Transport Canada.

They are on a team with Virginia Macchiavello - Associate Vice President, International Education, Amy Morrell - AVP, Institutional Effectiveness, and Michelle DeCoste - Acting AVP - Applied Research, Hyflex Learning & Academic Partnerships. Hubert Neubrand reports to Craig Stephenson, President & CEO.
