Ashley Garcia-Rivera

Ashley Garcia-Rivera is a dedicated professional with experience in child welfare and advocacy. Currently serving as a Policy and Advocacy Fellow at the Center for Adoption Support and Education since November 2022, Ashley previously held the position of National Child Welfare Consultant at AdoptUSKids from June to December 2023. Additional roles include a Social Media Intern for the Enough Abuse Campaign at Massachusetts Citizens for Children, a Special Assistant to the National Campaign Director at Adopt US Kids within the National Adoption Association, and an Americorps Member with City Year Columbia. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, expected to be completed in December 2023, and an Associate's Degree in Social Work from Central Piedmont Community College.
