Allie Schneider is a Policy Analyst specializing in Early Childhood Policy at the Center for American Progress, having progressed from the role of Research Associate in the same field since July 2022. Previously, Allie was a Southern Education Leadership Initiative Fellow at the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute and a Federal Policy Intern at ZERO TO THREE, where co-authorship of the 2021 State of Babies Yearbook was a notable contribution. Allie's extensive experience includes leadership as Head Advising Fellow at Matriculate, where Allie improved college acceptance for low-income students, as well as positions in educational research and policy at Bloomberg Philanthropies and the Social Cognitive Development Lab at Yale University. Allie earned a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from Yale University and participated in a Mandarin Chinese summer study abroad program at Yunnan University.
