Urs Gerber

Urs Gerber currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and a Board Member at the Center for Asia Pacific Strategy since March 2021, and as President of the Board at Stiftung Historisches Armeematerial HAM since March 2020. Urs Gerber has been the Swiss Armed Forces' Representative at the International Military Council on Climate and Security since September 2019. Prior experience includes Editor-in-Chief of Military Power Revue for the Schweizer Armee from January 2016 to March 2020, Major General and head of the Swiss delegation to the NNSC from February 2012 to August 2017, and Deputy Director of International Relations for the Swiss Armed Forces from January 2006 to December 2012. Additionally, Urs Gerber led the Euro-Atlantic Security Cooperation Division from January 2004 to January 2012. Educational qualifications include attendance at the Royal College of Defence Studies in 2000 and the Geneva Centre for Security Policy from 1993 to 1994.
