Alok Upadhyay

Alok Upadhyay, PhD, is an accomplished scientist currently serving as Associate Director of Analytical Development and Associate Principal Scientist at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines since February 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Development Scientist at Spark Therapeutics, Inc., and over seven years at PMC Advanced Technology, holding positions from Scientist to Project Leader and Senior Scientist. Alok Upadhyay has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School since May 2015 and has a robust research background, including postdoctoral work at Fox Chase Cancer Center focused on Notch signaling in Drosophila and apoptosis related to HCV. Alok Upadhyay holds a PhD in Biomedical Science-Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and an MSc in Biotechnology from Himachal Pradesh University.
