Rebecca Tinder

Rebecca Tinder is a seasoned professional in the field of education and civic engagement, serving as the WV State Coordinator for both We The People, The Citizen and the Constitution since January 2009 and Project Citizen since January 2020. With a strong background as a Member & Partner of the Education Law Group at Bowles Rice LLP from 2005 to January 2020, Rebecca provided training and support to school boards and administrators on various legal matters within education. Additionally, Rebecca held leadership roles within the Charleston Vandalia Rotary Club, contributing as Past President, President, and Secretary from July 2010 to July 2014, focusing on community service initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as General Counsel for the West Virginia Department and Board of Education from 2000 to 2005, where Rebecca assisted in legal matters and policy guidance. Rebecca holds both a BA and JD from West Virginia University.
