Pedro Guy

Assistant Director, Seafloor Mapping Program at Center for Coastal Studies (Provincetown, MA)

Pedro Guy is an experienced oceanographer currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Seafloor Mapping Program at the Center for Coastal Studies in Provincetown, MA, since January 2022. Prior to this role, Pedro worked as a Senior Geoscientist Analyst/Oceanographer at Tetra Tech from December 2014 to November 2021, focusing on fieldwork planning, data acquisition and processing, and technical report preparation. Earlier experience includes positions as an Environmental Modeling Specialist at the Laboratory of Primary Production at IO-USP and as a Trainee at LONCKE, where responsibilities encompassed field data collection and analysis. Pedro holds a Master's degree in Biological Oceanography and a Bachelor's degree in Oceanography, both from the Universidade de São Paulo.
