Mpp Devan Hankerson Madrigal

DeVan Hankerson Madrigal, MPP, is an experienced professional with a strong background in public policy, research, and technology law. Currently serving as Research Manager at the Center for Democracy & Technology since October 2020, DeVan previously held the position of Policy Analyst II and Institute Associate at Georgetown University Law Center's Institute for Technology Law and Policy. Prior to that, DeVan was Senior Director of Public Policy and Government Relations at The Goodfriend Group and worked as Research Director and Consultant for the Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council. DeVan's earlier roles include Digital Media Consultant at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and Visiting Economic Research Associate at Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Trade Policy and related fields from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Linguistic Anthropology from Vassar College.
