Dane Worthington

Dane Worthington is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic opportunity and workforce development. Currently serving as the Director of Economic Opportunity at the Center for Employment Opportunities since January 2016, Dane oversees the nationwide implementation of the Economic Opportunity Initiative, which has significantly enhanced the employment outcomes for participants. Previously, Dane held the role of Economic Opportunity Manager, where innovative programming increased wages and reduced fees for participants. With a consulting background for the Louisiana Recovery School District, Dane has designed career maps for key industries in the Southeast region. Earlier experiences include positions at Greater New Orleans, Inc. focused on workforce initiatives and environmental programs, strategic sourcing with Maersk Group, and participation in the Peace Corps. Dane holds a Master's Degree in International Business from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder.
