Rebecca Lang

Rebecca Lang has a diverse work experience with a focus on nonprofit and social impact organizations. Rebecca currently holds the position of Director, Strategic Implementation at the Center for Employment Opportunities, where they have successfully built a $100M+ operating budget and developed financial models to analyze performance across multiple sites. Prior to this role, Rebecca served as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at the same organization. Rebecca has also worked as an Independent Consultant and a Farber Fellow at REDF, an Actuarial Associate at New York Life Insurance Company, and an Actuarial Assistant at Cigna. Rebecca's passion for social impact led their to participate in programs such as the MBA Candidate at MIT Sloan School of Management and the Social Impact Fellow at MovingWorlds. Rebecca also co-founded Surge Employment Solutions, a startup accelerator program participant at MIT Sloan, which aimed to support formerly incarcerated individuals in gaining employment in the food service industry. Rebecca's experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and social impact showcases their expertise in driving positive change and creating opportunities for underrepresented communities.

Rebecca Lang holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management, which they obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to their MBA, they completed their undergraduate education at Binghamton University from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematical Sciences, with a focus on Actuarial and Economics. Additionally, Rebecca has obtained certifications such as the Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in 2022, the Financial Modeling for the Social Sector from Acumen in 2020, and the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) in 2017.
