Matt Petersen serves as the President and CEO of the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, where the focus is on fostering an inclusive green economy through innovation, partnerships, and workforce development. In addition to this role, Petersen is the Director and Chair of the Climate Adaptation Task Force at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and holds fellowships with the Edmund Hillary Fellowship and the Climate Mayors. Petersen also contributes to several boards, including the Center for Environmental Health and Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles. Prior roles include Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Los Angeles and leading Global Green USA, the US arm of Green Cross International. Petersen's academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from California State University, Chico.
