Anneliese McCarthy

Anneliese McCarthy is an experienced educator specializing in early childhood and special education, currently working as a Special Education Pre-K Teacher at Steppingstone Day School since September 2023. Additionally, Anneliese serves as an Adaptive Yoga Teacher for The Ninth Cloud and a Special Instructor for Bloomer Health, both roles commencing in late 2023. Anneliese has extensive experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum as an In-Home Facilitator for The Center for Family Support Inc. since August 2020. Other previous positions include teaching children's yoga at Commonpoint Queens and holding various educational roles at Steppingstone Day School, the NYC Department of Education, and Montessori School of New York International. Anneliese holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education from Hunter College and has a strong foundation in arts education from Fiorello H.
