Ana Roberts

Ana Roberts is a seasoned research professional with extensive experience in the biomedical field. Currently serving as a Research Associate at the Seattle Biomedical Research Institute since March 2013, Ana focuses on finding a cure for tuberculosis. Prior roles include Senior Research Associate at XBiotech USA Inc., where responsibilities included heading EBV immortalization for human antibody production and contributing to the Phage Display team through various technical tasks. Earlier positions include research at the University of Texas at Austin, investigating bioterrorism agent assays and pathogen detection methods, as well as roles at Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and Rosetta Inpharmatics, contributing to critical biological analyses and project optimizations. Ana’s career began with a fellowship at the APHL, where a novel microarray-based diagnostic assay for enteric pathogens was developed. Ana holds a B.S. in Molecular Genetics from Washington State University, with additional studies in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Texas at Austin.
