Francesca Mingrone

Francesca Mingrone is a Staff Attorney in the Climate & Energy Program at the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) since April 2020, focusing on human rights within climate negotiations and engaging with UN bodies and civil society. Prior experience includes serving as a Policy Officer at Independent Diplomat from September 2017 to April 2020, where support was provided to the government of the Marshall Islands for international climate conferences, and helping establish their permanent mission in Geneva. Francesca has also held roles at UN Environment as a Legal Intern and has been involved as an Observer at multiple UN Climate Change Conferences. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Law Degree from Luiss Guido Carli University.
