Giulia Carlini serves as the Manager and Senior Attorney at the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) since June 2016, focusing on the regulation of hazardous chemicals, particularly endocrine-disrupting chemicals, and engaging in international negotiations on chemical and waste governance. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Attorney, Staff Attorney, and Project Attorney at CIEL, contributing to global law and policy on plastics and supporting the Women's Major Group at the UN Environment Assembly. Academic expertise includes a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Master's Degree in European and transnational law from Università di Trento. Giulia has also lectured on environmental regulations at various institutions, including the INSP and ENA, and has held internships with organizations such as the Government of South Australia and Zobele Group.
