Cassia Kisshauer

Senior Reference Services Librarian, Special Collections at Center for Jewish History

Cassia Kisshauer serves as a Reference Services Librarian at the Center for Jewish History since July 2021, specializing in archival research assistance, digitization, and departmental outreach. In conjunction, Cassia has been an Open Educational Resources Librarian at CUNY Hostos Community College since March 2021, focusing on the adoption of open educational resources and coordinating OER program activities. Previous experience includes roles at the Jewish Women's Archive as a Digital Assistant, The New York Public Library in Special Collections, and various positions at the Center for Jewish History. Cassia holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Pratt Institute and has advanced degrees in Theological Studies and Jewish Studies from Vanderbilt University.
