Kimberly Young Chijiiwa

Kimberly Young Chijiiwa is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as an AMFT at the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy since June 2021, having previously held the position of AMFT Applicant at the same center. Prior experience includes serving as an MFT Trainee at the Center for Somatic Psychotherapy from May 2019 to June 2021. Kimberly has a diverse background in the arts, highlighted by a decade-long tenure at a canary torsi as a dancer, production manager, and development & administrative consultant. Additional roles include Managing Director at Community MusicWorks, Operations Manager at ISSUE Project Room, Administrative Director, and Box Office Manager at Roulette Intermedium, Inc., as well as various positions at The Princeton Review. Kimberly holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology specializing in Somatic Psychotherapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
