Renee Van Someren

Renee Van Someren serves as the Associate Program Manager of the Triage Response Team. She completed her undergraduate studies at Stellenbosch University in South Africa and went on to receive a Master's Degree in International Conflict Resolution from American University.

Before joining CPE, Renee was a disaster science researcher for an international nonprofit that helped leverage the skills of veterans following a natural disaster. She also spent five years as the Director of Operations of a design firm; managing projects, people, and relationships. Renee is active in her community and served as an advisor for a nonprofit that provides legal services to trafficked individuals.
