Amy Tran-Calhoun

Amy Tran-Calhoun serves as the Director of Community Engagement at the Dallas Asian American Historical Society since February 2024. With extensive experience in racial equity and education, Amy has been a Trainer at the Center for Racial Justice in Education since May 2016, facilitating discussions around bias and racism. Previously, as Partnerships Manager at Diversity Talks from March 2021 to February 2024, Amy successfully raised 40% of the annual budget through partnerships. Other notable roles include Racial Equity Coach at Dallas Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation, and various leadership positions at Education Opens Doors, Inc. Amy holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Mass Communications from the same institution.
