Janelle Naomi Rouse

Janelle Naomi Rouse is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in program coordination and educational consultation. Currently serving as Program Coordinator at the Center for Racial Justice in Education since November 2021, Janelle leads client engagement and customizes Scopes of Work to meet educational needs. From September 2023 to August 2024, Janelle will fulfill the role of Senior Education Consultant at Teaching Matters, focusing on instructional improvements in New York City public schools. Previously, Janelle held leadership positions at Inspiring Minds NYC and EXPLORE EXCEED CHARTER SCHOOL, and began a compassionate commitment to education as a Corps Member with Teach For America. Janelle holds a Master’s degree from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Widener University.
