Tishara Joseph

Tishara Joseph is an experienced educator and facilitator with a diverse background in teaching, racial justice, and community engagement. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Augusta Technical College and a Racial Justice Facilitator at the Center for Racial Justice in Education, Tishara also tutors with Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc., and is the Founder of RECLAIM JOY. Previous roles include positions as an Elementary School Teacher at Ascend Public Charter Schools and Lead Teacher at Uncommon Schools, as well as earlier experiences in job development and college advising. Tishara holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from Brooklyn College, a Bachelor of Science in International/Global Studies from St. Lawrence University, and an Advanced Regents Diploma from the High School of Telecommunications Arts And Technology.
