Marcia Sitcoske

Marcia Sitcoske is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in event management and environmental education. Currently serving as Director of Events and Education at the Center for Resource Solutions since May 2016, Marcia produces the Renewable Energy Markets (REM) conference and the REM Asia conference, bringing together over 350 clean energy professionals annually. Previously, Marcia held the position of Director of Special Events at the USGBC Northern California Chapter from January 2012 to August 2015, managing significant events such as the Water Conservation Showcase and the Super Heroes Awards Gala. Marcia's early career includes roles as Program Coordinator for the Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program at the University of California, Berkeley, and Senior Director at Cisco Systems, where Marcia contributed to transformational change within the organization. Marcia holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Communications from Green Mountain College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from Franklin & Marshall College.
