Astrid Bennedsen

Astrid Bennedsen is an MD and PhD student at the Center for Surgical Science (CSS) since October 2018. Prior experience includes roles as a physician and nursing assistant at FADL from October 2012 to July 2017, a research associate at Sjællands Universitetshospital in Køge from October 2016 to June 2017, and a research-year student at Sjællands Universitetshospital in Roskilde from February 2015 to January 2016. Astrid also worked as a home care assistant at Københavns Kommune from October 2010 to September 2012. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Surgical Sciences from the University of Copenhagen (2019-2022), a Master's degree in Medicine (2011-2018), and a Bachelor's degree in Medicine (2011-2014), all obtained from the University of Copenhagen. Education was completed at Niels Steensens Gymnasium, achieving a Gymnasieeksamen from 2007 to 2010.
