Hans Raskov

Hans Raskov is a highly experienced medical professional with a specialty in surgery and surgical gastroenterology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at the Center for Surgical Science since May 2018, Hans has previously held significant positions including Consultant Surgeon at CPH Private Hospital from June 2018 to June 2020, and Specialist in General Surgery and Surgical Gastroenterology at the Center for Surgical Science from 2005 to 2018. With a notable background as Chief Surgeon and Head of Colorectal Surgery at Gentofte Hospital from 1999 to 2005, and as an Overlæge at Gentofte University Hospital, Hans has developed expertise in colorectal diseases, particularly colorectal cancer and surgery. Hans also founded and served as CEO of Colotech A/S, an innovative research-based pharmaceutical company, from May 1999 to March 2011. Educational qualifications include a degree in medicine from the University of Copenhagen and a specialization in surgery and surgical gastroenterology from the University Hospitals in Copenhagen.
