Megan Sergi Howard is a seasoned social work professional with extensive experience in community services and direct support for low-income individuals. Currently serving as Program Director at the Center for Urban Community Services since October 2011, Megan leads a team dedicated to combating poverty in New York City through comprehensive social services. Previously, Megan held roles as Assistant Program Director and Social Worker at CUCS, where responsibilities included clinical services for those with mental health challenges and chronic homelessness. Earlier career positions included Shelter Social Worker at the Children's Home Society of West Virginia and Teacher/Counselor at Pressley Ridge. Megan earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Kentucky.
