Shawn Burnett

Shawn Burnett is an experienced professional in community leadership and nonprofit management, currently serving as the Academy Manager at Practitioners Leadership Institute since 2018, where responsibilities include managing the PLI Academy for practitioners serving Boys and Men of Color in Baltimore City. In addition, Shawn holds multiple roles including Future Advisor at the Inner Harbor Project, Acting Community Manager for BMe Community, and Group Facilitator at the Center for Urban Families. As the Founder and Director of Walks of ART, Shawn oversees all organizational aspects such as fundraising, programming, and strategic development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nonprofit Leadership from Coppin State University and ongoing MBA studies with a focus on Project Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
