Calah Schlabach

Calah Schlabach is a skilled professional in communications and journalism, currently serving as the Manager of Development Communications at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities since December 2020, after holding the role of Development Writer/Editor. Previous experience includes positions as Washington Correspondent for Cronkite News - Arizona PBS and Graduate Student at Arizona State University, where Calah also worked as an Investigative Reporter with News21 and a Graduate Assistant with Global Sport Matters. Early career roles involved grant writing for Catholic Social Services of Columbus and freelance writing and editing from 2011 to 2018. Calah is an accomplished elite triathlete and served as an Assistant Coach for cross country and triathlon at Marymount University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Mass Communication from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Calvin University.
