Eugene Gordin has a range of work experience in the software engineering field. Eugene began their career as a Software Developer Intern at Sensoria Fitness, where they developed web tools using C# and ASP.NET. Eugene then moved on to join Hypershow as an iOS/macOS Developer, where they were responsible for the development of iPad/iPhone applications for iOS7/8 and macOS tools and applications. During this time, they gained expertise in Xcode development, utilizing frameworks such as AFNetworking, MagicalRecord, and AVFoundation.

In 2014, Eugene joined Sensoria Inc as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to various projects before transitioning to Center (getcenter.com) in 2015. At Center, they started as an iOS Developer and played a key role in building the CenterCard iOS application from scratch. Eugene'sresponsibilities included integrating with CenterID bluetooth peripherals, implementing messaging protocols, and working on various aspects of the application such as networking, storage, and testing.

Eugene quickly progressed in their career at Center, taking on roles such as Mobile Engineering Lead and Senior Staff SDE/Technical Lead before their current position as Principal SDE/Technical Lead. In these positions, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills and technical expertise, overseeing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Throughout their work experience, Eugene has showcased proficiency in various technologies and tools, including Objective-C, Swift, Core Bluetooth, REST, Alamofire, MapKit, Core Data, Realm, GCD, Xcode Server, Jenkins, Crashlytics, Fabric, and Testflight. Eugene also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute', which they completed from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Eugene has obtained several certifications from Udemy, including the "Serverless Framework Bootcamp: Node.js, AWS & Microservices" in January 2021, and the "Advanced Analytics In R For Data Science" and "R For Data Science" certifications in April 2019.
