Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith, B.S., RT(R)(CT) has extensive experience in radiologic science and medical imaging education. Currently serving as the Learning and Development Manager at Centerline Biomedical since October 2020, Matthew previously held roles at Philips as Global Sales Training Manager and CT Clinical Validation Specialist from July 2016 to February 2020. Matthew contributed to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Radiography Exam Committee Member and Test Item Writer between February 2013 and March 2018. Prior experience includes a position as a Radiologic Science Professor at the University of Charleston from January 2015 to July 2016, and a Medical Imaging Technologist at Charleston Area Medical Center Health System from September 2010 to December 2015, where Matthew also supported student clinical education. Matthew began a career in imaging as an X-Ray Technologist at MedExpress from August 2010 to February 2011. Matthew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Science from the University of Charleston in 2010.
