Herb Craven

Herb Craven possesses extensive experience in aviation, currently serving as a Helicopter Pilot for the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) since May 2022. Herb also holds the position of Chief Pilot at Centerra Group since August 2015, previously worked as a Helicopter Pilot for Air Evac Lifeteam, and served as a Deputy Marshal for the Richmond County Marshals Office in a part-time capacity. Herb's aviation career began with the Georgia State Patrol, where years of service included roles as a Sergeant First Class and Helicopter Pilot. Early career experience includes roles as Deputy Sheriff with both the Columbia County Sheriff's Office and Columbia County Sheriff Office. Herb's education features certifications from the Bell Helicopter Training Academy and FAA 135 Ground and Flight School, along with additional training at Air-Bus.
