Matt Bigert

Matt Bigert has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Matt currently holds the position of Vice President, CMC & Analytical R&D at Centessa Pharmaceuticals since June 2022. Prior to that, they founded their own consulting company, Matt Bigert Consulting LLC, in March 2018, where they served as President and Founder. Matt was also the Vice President, CMC at Nuvation Bio from August 2019 to June 2022. Other notable roles include being the Sr. Director, Analytical Development and CMC at Axovant Sciences, Inc from January 2017 to February 2018, and holding various positions at Particle Sciences, A Lubrizol Company from August 2011 to January 2017, including Associate Director, Analytical Services and Manager, Method Development. Matt also worked as a Principal Analytical Chemist at Merck from August 2010 to August 2011, an Analytical Chemist at Particle Sciences, A Lubrizol Company from August 2009 to August 2010, a Principal Research Chemist at Air Products from October 2008 to August 2009, and a Senior Research Chemist at Air Products from August 2005 to October 2008. Matt started their career as a Research Chemist at Merck in August 2002 and later became a Staff Chemist there from August 2002 to March 2004.

Matt Bigert has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Ursinus College, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Matt later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, completing it from 2000 to 2002. In 2009, Matt briefly attended Cornell University, focusing on Management, although the field of study is not specified.
